We are putting together an advisory board of representatives from all the targeted markets that have a key stake in the implementation and outcome of our featured products to ensure our features meet the needs of the market. Zii invites you, right from the start, to participate in the innovation that our company brings to the industry. Your input will contribute in helping us shape corporate travel as we know it, with new perspectives and solutions. We may ask advisory board members to volunteer for specific activities from time to time, but only on an as-desired basis.

Monique Mardinian, Founder & CEO

Monique Mardinian is an entrepreneur best known as the founder of Encore Travel, a travel management company in the large enterprise space. With more than three decades of experience as a leader in the business and travel industries, she is described by her peers as audacious and visionary. Her business portfolio is poised to revolutionize the industry; in 2018, Mardinian launched Zii, the first FinTech platform focused on enabling better business travel. Monique earned her degree in Mathematics from Concordia University and is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise professional, recognized by WEConnect International. She lives in Montreal, QC with her children Jake and Jesse, and her grandpup, Logan.






Bernard Harrop, Sustainability Advisor & Managing Director, IG Management

Bernard is an independent consultant specializing in transforming businesses. With over 25 years of sales and marketing experience as a professional director / business manager his knowledge and expertise extends across multiple business sectors: from drinks to airlines and fashion to financial services, and across different market categories: from small / medium businesses to global multi-national corporations. He is also considered an expert in sustainability, particularly in the travel and tourism industry. He currently lectures on sustainability at the Marbella University Business School.






Jo Lloyd has over 28 years of experience in the corporate travel industry.  Having worked across a broad range of industry sectors throughout her career, Jo has experience in TMC, Airline Sales and Procurement environments.  Operating as an independent industry consultant for over 15 years, Jo has engaged with clients across the globe on a number of interesting and diverse projects delivering strategy, sourcing and change management.  In addition to her consulting work, Jo also develops and writes industry white papers.  Jo also writes and delivers skills development training courses focussed on working with travel procurement, strategic selling and negotiation skills and stakeholder influencing.  In 2015 Jo and her business partners founded Nina & Pinta, a strategic consulting and accredited training company.  In 2021, Jo was awarded the ITM Chairman’s Award in recognition of her contribution to the industry.






Christian Labonté, Chief Technology Officer

Christian Labonté earned a Bachelor in Applied Science, Computer Science from Université Laval and a Masters in Computer Science from Dalhousie University, where he led an advanced research project titled “Secure Multicasting on Active Virtual Private Networks”. He presented the outcome of his research at two international conferences and was published in two IEEE publications. Christian possesses more than 14 years of experience in software development; most of them acquired in the R&D arms of Nortel Networks and Ericsson where he learned how to bring projects from innovation to robust deployments meeting the rigorous requirements of telecom carriers.






Amanda Blair Davis, Head of Marketing

With nearly two decades of experience in B2B marketing, Amanda has worked for some of the world’s biggest companies across a variety of verticals including entertainment, travel, real estate, finance, mining, manufacturing, and more. She is an expert in developing marketing, communications, and brand strategies that amplify business for companies of all sizes. Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in business communication and marketing from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree in Communication Management and Marketing from the University of Southern California. She lives in Southern California with her husband Nick and dog Phoebe.
